As part of our effort to improve perinatal health outcomes, we are seeking proposals from qualified doulas to provide services to Medicaid-eligible families. Services could include birth and postpartum doula services, referral coordination, and/or mentorship services to other contracted doulas.
Doulas provide guidance and support to families of newborns, pre- and post-birth, which includes educational and emotional support, affirmation, and advocacy, and health care and social service navigation. These services align with the Healthy Children’s Fund strategies for expanding and enhancing early parenting supports. The total available funding to be awarded is $200,000.
The deadline to submit a proposal is 2:30pm on November 4.
